Office gift exchange

Secret Santa for work, without the spreadsheet

Happy Giving is a free office Secret Santa app. Set a price cap, send one link to your team and let the draw handle the rest, whether your team shares a floor or a time zone.

Built for how offices actually work

Works for remote teams

Everyone joins from a link. Anyone can add an optional ship-to address that only the person who drew them can see.

The organizer does not have to play

HR, an office manager or a team lead can run the whole exchange without taking part or seeing who drew whom.

Work-safe clue presets

Choose safe prompts like favorite coffee order or hobby, so the game stays friendly for every team.

The game is optional

Play Guess Who at the party or on a video call, or skip it and reveal everyone at once.

A price cap on every gift

Set one limit for each gift, like $25. The app blocks wishlist items above it, so there is no awkward spending gap.

Small team or large company

Start with 4 people or invite a whole department. There is no maximum.

Set up in four steps

  1. Create it

Name the exchange, choose the gift date and set the per-gift cap.

  2. Share the link

Post it in Slack, Teams or email. People join in a browser.

  3. Wishlists

Each person adds 3 to 5 ideas from any store.

  4. Draw and reveal

Start the draw. Gift day can be a quick reveal or a full Guess Who game.

Office questions

Does it work for a remote office team?

Yes. Everyone joins from a link, so your team can be in different cities. Anyone can add an optional ship-to address that only the person who drew them can see, and the organizer can pick work-safe clue presets for the game.

Can couples be kept from drawing each other?

Yes. The organizer can set exclusions before the draw: couples, siblings, or anyone who should not draw someone else. The draw respects every exclusion. If a set of exclusions makes a valid draw impossible, Happy Giving tells the organizer which one to relax.

Why do you need at least 4 people?

With 3 people, every possible draw is a single loop, so once you know who you are buying for you can work out who is buying for you. With 2 people it is obvious. With 4 or more, a draw can have several possibilities, so nobody can be certain who drew them.

Is Happy Giving really free?

Yes. There are no fees, no subscriptions and no ads, for the organizer or for anyone who joins. Happy Giving earns a small commission when people buy gifts through some of our links. That never changes what you pay. See how we make money.
